Talk Game! How'd you get your name? Well, How did it all start?

Hello readers!
I just wanted to answer the same questions that are asked by many.

How Long have you been dj'ing?
-October of 2010 will make it 2 years

What inspired you to start dj'ing?
-Growing up I always loved music. When i was a little kid i used to mess with the volume switch to act like i was scratching lol. But being a former Model, none of the djs that I know in Atlanta took me serious about djing, but my real good friend Dj Scream really did influence me to take it seriously. His humbleness is what really inspired me.

who taught you how to dj?
-Dj Dre. We never went to the studio, or toe jams, or anywhere to really practice. He taught me hands on at the club

How'd you get your name?
- My name was given to me by Dj Dre. Legion of Doom Djs/ U.G Djs/ Lod College tour ceo. Not only did he teach me how to dj, but we became real good friends. Business partners, and a mentor to me in this dj game. So the time we got to know each other we learned about one another. He noticed that i am a slick talker, i can easily get my way, change subjects, and plead the 5th without even saying it..lol He always said you stay talking game. so we are going to tcall you talk game. Trust me once you get to know me you will say that it best fits me

Do you remember the first time you dj'ed at a club?
-Yes! It was at club scores on wesley chapel road. and I never got a chance to practice, because dre taught me how to dj at the club.he showed me the basics, handed me the headphones and told me to go head, and if i fuck up the crowd is gonna boo me, so i better not mess up lol it was great

How do you feel about not having a traditional feminine name?
-Well I love it! Starting out i just needed a name so i stuck with Dj Madi Wit Da Phatty. but the reason why i stopped modeling is because i wanted to turn down the sexual image i gave off to people and be respected for something else. but i was told by a real known dj not to have my name because it was not feminine, such as dj princess cutz, mami chula, diamind cuts, dj dimpiece and ect.. but i didnt listen. I love it when i go to a venue in my skinny jeans, heels, nails, and make up and tell people that i am a dj.lol i get the weirdest looks because they expect to see a male

Does it ever get tough for you?
-Sometimes I can say it does. I am also a college student.Majoring in Pre Med Biology and Criminology. So I have to balance that, which i am doing a great job of. And some people dont take me serious about dj'ing because I am a female.and Unfortunately some men still think with their penis, and not wallet. It's lucrative, but with my determination, and grind i will prove plenty wrong and earn the respect that i want.

What are your goals ?/What do you have coming up?
-Well i plan on making a impact in the streets of Atlanta. There is very few female djs here. Which is a surprise to me and others. I dont want to be the typical graphic tee, pants, and kicks dj..I want males to know that a female can rock a crowd just as well as a man, and sometimes even better. I also plan on finally dropping a mixtape this year, and to continue traveling and doing shows in the southeast region of the U.S. Im also looking into getting into radio on XM radio.
PLUS! I am still the administrative assistant and Dj for the LOD College tour thar still goes down every semester at a different college. For more info visit http://www.lodcollegetour.com

Are you currently dj'ing at any spots?
-I am nowhere right now permanently, but from time to time i am located at club Bankhead On Wednesday for their WestSide Wednesdays!

If you could work with any artist or dj right now who would it be?
-I would definitely work with Yo Gotti. I love this man's humbleness and music. Also Rasheeda, and I cant forget about Gucci Mane.As far as Dj I would definitely like to work with my good friend/inspiration Dj Scream. hmmmm may have something cooking. Just tune in and see

How can people book you or get in contact with you?

Street Talk

Hello readers.

Well I was interested in going to this record pool on the South Side of Atlanta called Club ThroBacks. The event was thrown by P.Brown, Ceo of StreetTalk. She is a wonderful person. I have mad respect for P.Brown because she is a well respected female in this game and stay grinding. But it was the thumbs up and down review, and i was the only female on the panel :). I loved it though. Shouts out to all of the artists, producers, djs, ents, models, and ect who was in the building. Had performances by Rasheeda, playaz circle, j-futuristic (jmoney), and yung la, B.A.M.A, and more. Shouts out to the lovely Twinz, and everyone who showed me love. For the next record pool it will be in the summer, same spot, and you dont know what to expect. Thanx for rockin with me, Now Talk Ya Game *muah*

My Road Trip to Birmingham

Hello readers. I havent figured out what to call yall yet. lol give me some time though i got yall. With me being a female i like to be very descriptive about my events.lol. and i see that majority of the time i will be gone in my lil space. So lets talk ya game...

I linked up with my patna Dj Blazentrax who i met in atlanta from a record pool by streettalk and the ceo is Pam. Brown. it was a wonderful event maybe i should have done a blog entry about that.hmmm we will see. but me, him, and Dj Aaries were trippen out and enjoying the wonderful 4th anniversary record pool. Dj Blazentrax said he's hittin the road to Birmingham, AL to go do a shoaw. I said shoot let me go with you, and it was on. A week later (yesterday) We were on the road. Going up there it was great. One thing that i may say about him is that he loves what he do, and we always have a great convo and can keep going on and on about it.

We get to Birmingham around 6pm and we go straight to a cook out. I met wonderful people, and i got to hold a li baby boy. sorry i am a sucker for kids. lol but time comes and we were headed to club obsessions which is next to, club suite 204, and across from club 1709 ( which is the spot). This would be my first event that i would be hosting. Yes my name is Dj Talk Game , and im spose to talk and ect.but i am shy still. lol but when im zooted! its no problem. but the crowd wasnt what i had expected it to be. but Shouts out to club obsessions. In the mean time the owner of the club next door at club 204 wanted to do business. He let me enter the lounge and yall its grown and sexy!! Might I add. It was plushed out red, with black decor'.Wonderful sound tone and feel. The club owner was a nice looking man. :) and he wants to do business. And i took him up for his offer. :) But the promoter for this party is not the regular promoter that i am used to. Her name is Sarah ceo of Behind da scene ent. She is a female doing her thing and is white lol. She loves what she does and does it well. Shoutsout to her

The night is still young and this is a road trip! i am not done so its time to party. Blaze tells me about a club called VS LOUNGE owned by Art. and it is hood! See blaze is a hood ass nigga, and das why i rock with him. He likes the hood spots, crucial, central station, and so on. Them clubs where 5 fights break out and u still continue partying, the heart of the streets venues. and me being me DAT IS NOT MY STYLE. Im more ons ome cill shit, amy dance, but all dat violence is not the scene for me. lol but he laughs at me because i dj at club Bankhead lol So I am out of town I do not know what to expect out of des country folks! We pull up!!! and STR* HOOD! Police cars, bikers folks, niggas posted, no flexing i wasnt tryna leave my laptop in da car. lol im not prissy or bougie but i lived dis shit and know better. lol but The owner Art welcomes us in, str8 loved shown. Fed us in V.I.P . one thing about clubs in Birmingham they do not play about the clubs with the food. They may not even have a kitchen inside of the club, but may be grillin in front of the club and bring it in the club. im not used to that at all me being from Atlanta. Yall i walked up in there, and Str8! HOOD im talking about Club Crucial in Bham but a different twist. This song was playing that reminded me of Waka Floacka Flames song " love that gun sound"but is by a guy in birmingham called Bama -"" will let yall know later. imma break this track in atlanta.i promise you. lol but it was great! I know my friends are saying "You know u dont do clubs like that" but im out of town wth i gotta show love! lol went to the bar and the bartendar showed me and blaze love as well. i had to get my sex on the beach. can we say stupid!!! man they know how to make drinks and arent stingy.

So you already know i had to go see who was Dj'ing. And it was Dj Vegas on the 1s and 2s. He rocked that bitch. A real cool down to earth Dj. Shouts out to the Hood Hard Djs. Surprisingly no fights broke out. I enjoyed my self. and in te words of Dj Vegas " I got wasted then a whitegirl" pow pow. Net worked and enjoyed myself. Shouts out to Dj Twist' T .. he got me with the U dropped your pocket lol

Then we were off to Wasffle house. U know h=i had to keep it Atlanta and go to the Waffle House. My choices were purple onion, and Al's. I didnt wanna try anything new right now but the waffle house was GARBAGE!!! serivice was rude. i waited so long for my AllStar Meal. but i was ready to go to the Room and knock out.Today we woke up and are at Sarash's house eating up a storm. They make sure they feed us here.and I love it. Another trip! Another adventure. With ya Girl dj talk game. ^_^. and with me! I will ne uploading pictures. :)

Shouts out to the Bama Boyz, Dj BlzaenTrax, Sarah c.e.o of Behind da Scene, Club Obsessions, Suite 204, V.S Lounge. Dj Vegas, Dj Twist' T, My girls with the Loud, People at the cookout, Everyone who showed me love. and especially the ones who say. They never seen a female Dj before lol I do it for me and yall :). Thanx for reading. so if any of yall seen me get at me. and always follow me on twitter. so talk ya game....
